Requirements:
Must demonstrate an interest in professional development, learning, and skill-building opportunities for members
Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting
Must be able to understand, remember, and follow committee policies, procedures, and timelinesÂ
Must be comfortable communicating with members, presenters, and partner organizations in a professional manner
Must be able to commit to attending scheduled meetings and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner
Must be able to represent the organization's values, mission, and educational philosophy when interacting with members and the public
Must be able to meet the physical and digital requirements of the role, including attending virtual meetings, preparing materials, and occasionally assisting with in-person training events
Expectations:
Must support and promote the organization's mission through educational initiatives
Must demonstrate a positive, respectful, and collaborative attitude in all interactions
Must contribute ideas, feedback, and effort toward training programs, resources, and events
Must coordinate all aspects of educational events, including scheduling dates, securing trainers or presenters, arranging food and beverages, and managing any necessary logistics
Must meet deadlines for assigned task and communicate proactively about any challenges or scheduling conflicts
Must uphold professional standards of conduct and represent the organization with integrity
Must maintain open communication with the committee and members regarding progress and participation
Committee Policies:
Committee members may be dismissed by the Board at any time for failing to follow committee policies. This includes but is not limited to issues with attendance, attitude, or failure to complete assigned tasks.
Attendance Policy:
Attend all scheduled committee meetings and participate actively in discussions
Communicate in advance if unable to attend a meeting
Notify the committee of any changes in availability
Repeated attendance or participation issues may result in removal from the committee
"No call, no show" absences will be documented and may lead to dismissal after repeated occurrences
